This elegant red wine is made from Montepulciano grapes that have been grown on a small family run estate situated in the southern heel of Italy, Conte Ottavio Piccolomini d'Aragona srl, a Tuscan winery with an illustrious history, linked to the homonymous and noble Sienese family from which illustrious personalities of Italian history descent.
The “appassimento” uses dried grapes producing wine that is a vivid ruby red in colour, with an intense, complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, jam and spices. It is full, elegant and harmonious on the tongue.
