White Sancerre was one of the original AOCs awarded in 1936. Often compared to neighbouring Pouilly-Fume, there are some differences, mainly being that Sancerre tends to have a fuller body with greater aromas. Here you will discover a dry wine of a pale gold colour, highly aromatic with intense flavours of peaches and gooseberries, and quite frankly no better partner for fish, shellfish or goat’s cheese.
