The Filus winery sits at the foothills of the Andes Mountains, located in the majestic Uco Valley - a region renowned for their award-winning Malbecs. With grapes harvested from 40 to 60-year-old vines and half aged in French oak barrels, the 2019 Filus Malbec is a mild, medium-bodied 100% Malbec. The wine offers rich violet, liquorice and dark fruit aromas, freshly finished with a small hint of mint. Filus can be locally translated as ‘Friendship’ so is best enjoyed over a festive dinner with friends.
