The Greek Mythical Muse Thalia was the goddess who presided over comedy and idyllic poetry. She was portrayed as a young woman with a joyous air, crowned with Ivy, wearing boots and holding a comic mask in her hand. Today she also presides over our Muse Series Vermentino, a grape of Mediterranean origins where it is widely planted in both Italy and France. In Australia, the Vermentino is enjoying huge success in regions such as Murray Darling, Margaret River and well as Riverland. On the nose, you get the citrus aromas, whilst on the palate flavours of lime, green apple and peaches are present with a fine pine nut finish. An excellent partner for fish.
